Playing Card Desigin + Alphonse Mucha Poster Study
The first project of my masters program proved to be no joke. Part 1: design 50 posters in 4 days, all derived from Alphonse Mucha’s JOB 1898. Part 2: adapt all 50 posters into something new that still let the posters shine. My solution: a 54 card playing deck. Fully functional, fully playable, channeling the lusty and taboo ambiance of a 1800’s cigarette paper ad. Phew.
